I grew up in always with a passion for people combined with a strong sense of justice. Following that calling, I went on to study and practice law. Being almost caught up in the material side of the world, I started exploring who I was, my purpose in life and what gifts I had to offer the world.
Driven to find out more, I attended several self-discovery and personal transformation programs and went through a variety of life experiences that caused me to question the meaning of life, my role in my own life and the contribution that I could make to the world. In 2003, I packed my bags to explore the world outside South Africa - both as an opportunity to learn more about the world, and to learn more about myself.
I travelled overseas for 3 years returned home in June 2006 to pursue my vision and core passion and purpose of standing for people's greatness and supporting people in their own journeys of self discovery. I completed my studies in Consciousness Coaching® and after graduating gave up the legal playing field for good to start my own coaching business - inVision Coaching - driven by the motto: Come "see" your Self! Since then I can really say that I am living my dream. I'm not caught up in the rat race of 9-5 anymore and I'm creating my own working hours and environment. I now have the time to pursue my other passions and have started with art classes to be able to have my own art exhibition by the end of next year and have also joined a community theatre to pursue my passion for drama and theatre. As a Consciousness Coach I also live my dream every day of making an impact in my client's lives through the process of coaching!

We all know lawyers… We all know the jokes that people make about lawyers, their money hunger and huge ego's. Well, they are all true and I have to admit that being a lawyer and legal advisor was good for the ego… but not good for the soul. I worked as legal advisor at one of South-Africa's biggest banks whilst I did my CCI curriculum. I worked in the financial planning section of the bank and dealt with complaints from people who dealt with the bank's financial planners. One of my main duties was to see how we could limit the bank's liability by also focusing on compliance and compliance training.
"What I didn't like" / "What didn't work for me" about that profession:
What I really didn't like when working at the bank was the politics as it was never about who you were but who you knew and who you were connected with. People on the ground level were never invested in to become great and motivated to be the best they could be, they were just taken for granted and kept 'small'. I felt like just another pawn on the chess board without a purpose to really make a difference and impact in the office. What also didn't work for me was the monotony of the job, dealing with the same complaints and unhappy people day in and day out, without really having some higher purpose or vision that pulled me forward. It was in my blood to impact people and to make a difference and it was just very hard and very challenging to go against the 'institution' and old way of thinking and doing things. I realized that my employer and I did not have the same vision in mind and that is for all human beings to stand for their greatness and stand for each others greatness, and I left to pursue my own path.

CCI Accredited Consciousness Coach and I am in the process of applying for my PCC (Professional Consciousness Coaching status) as well as my ICF (International Coach Federation) accreditation
My next big goal:
My next big goal is to revolutionize the weight loss industry by introducing Weight Wisdom workshops and weight wisdom coaching to enable women to BE the powerful beings they are destined to be by embracing the body they're in, regardless of the shape or form.
I myself, have up to date shed 35kg of excess weight and I want to teach women to do the work, like I did, by creating a shift in consciousness and dealing with the issues around their last layer of reality, their body, so that the body would naturally return to its normal weight. I believe that women specifically have a huge roll to play in shifting the consciousness in South Africa firstly and then shifting the consciousness on the planet but first we have to let go of the self consciousness and issues with the body. I see a future where more confident, empowered women will emerge with a deep sense of self confidence, self respect and self image. Women all over the world will take a stand for their greatness in terms of their mind, body and spirit!
I am committed to reach 500 women through either coaching and/or workshops by the end of 2008 and 5000 women by the end of 2009. I am also committed to finish my book on Weight Wisdom by the end of 2009.
My vision to see women happily and healthy in their bodies is more than a nice to have - it is a necessity for the transformation process the world is going through.
