Admissions Policy

The Creative Consciousness International - Coaching Academy (CCI-CA) programs are for adults who possess:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of what coaching is and what it is not
  • The desire to learn and the willingness to grow
  • Motivation to succeed
  • While not required, advanced education, experience in people-related fields, and personal maturity will enhance the participants ability to succeed.

Ethics

The CCI - CA acknowledges and commits to the Code of Ethics as outlined by the ICF International Coach Federation. The ICF adheres to a form of coaching that honors the client as the expert in their life and work, believing that every client is creative, resourceful, and whole. For more information, please visit the ICF web site. The CCI - CA does not represent any religious ideologies, or are members of any sect, cult or dogmatic organization.

Confidentiality

CCI-CA and its coaches/trainers recognize that the students may have future plans, business affairs, customer lists, financial information, job information, goals, personal information, and other private information. CCI-CA trainers will not at any time, either directly or indirectly, voluntarily use any information for their own benefit, or disclosure, or communicate this information to a third party. The student undertakes and commits not to use or disclose any information that has been shared of disclosed during any of the Master Courses.

Student Conduct and Responsibilities

The student has been made aware that the programs offered by CCI are in no way to be construed as psychotherapy, psychological counseling, or any type of therapy. The student constitutes that he does not take psychopharmacological drugs, no illegal drugs and that he does not take psychotherapeutic treatment. If so, he is to inform any CCI authority immediately. For travel arrangements, flight fares, hotel reservations etc. the student is solely responsible. The Academy blends strong support for student learning and success with the student's commitment to learning. Student conduct must demonstrate this commitment & be visible in the form of full class attendance & for being open to learning. Students are expected to reinforce the learning nature of the environment and manage themselves accordingly. Students who are absent for a half day or more from one module will be required to repeat the module or make up for it in an agreed upon way. In case of the latter CCI-CA has to charge for the extra hours of service the student may require from the trainer or his representatives. CCI-CA cannot tolerate inappropriate or disruptive behaviour that compromises the learning environment. If the behaviour compromises the safety or personal rights of another individual, the student may be subject o remedial action, up to and including expulsion from the course or programme.

It is our philosophy to do whatever it takes, that you reach your goal in the most effective & comfortable way. If the participant is not satisfied with the CCI-CA coach education programme he is entitled to claim back his tuition for the modules he registered for. Prerequisite for the money back guarantee is the completion of each session of the programme he registered for, his full attendance and active participation and having done and completed the programme related assignments. The refund claim has to be made on the end of the last day of the programme; after that a claim will no longer be valid.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

The student acknowledges that CCI-CA is the owner of: all rights to the intellectual property which include designs, know how, copyright, goodwill and trade marks whether existing now or in the future in and to: all documentation, websites, CCI-CA manuals, the "toolbox", "impeccable handling of integrity", logbook and other material that is used by CCI Creative Consciousness International CC.

The student undertakes and commits not to use or reproduce any of the material without becoming a CCI Associate; or without written permission of CCI; or without acknowledging CCI for creation and development, shown in writing on documents produced by using the following words: "Copyrighted by Marc Steinberg for CCI Creative Consciousness International, CC" Should a student use any of the intellectual property in verbal proposals or presentations; oral acknowledgment of CCI Creative Consciousness International CC and Marc Steinberg is required.

Liability

The student is fully responsible for her/himself and her/his actions within and outside of the CCI - CA. She/He is liable for possible damages. CCI and its trainers are released from any liability claims, except if these are based on intentional harmful behavior of the trainer.

Master II CS Coaching Sessions and OCS Observed Coaching Sessions

By contract the student is entitled to receive 6 CS during his Master II period and 6 OCS during his Master III period with a certified PCC Professional Consciousness Coach®. The CS coach will be assigned by CCI and she/he will contact the student within a few days. The student may use the CS for being coached on any subject(s) of his own choice and of course, it's Consciousness Coaching®.
Pre-requisites:

  1. Filling-out of the Start-your-Coaching questionnaire, except section 7 'finances'
  2. If you are on a payment plan: you only can start using the CS or OCS after your payment has reached a minimum of R 5000.
  3. Master II CS not taken are not transferable and expire 2 days before the start of the student's Master III.2 programme. It is the student's responsibility to claim and schedule his CS and OCS with his coach. Exceptions only upon request and written agreement.

Our Coaching Language

CCI-CA uses a certain coaching language, which is designed to reinforce the impact of the coaching. This language uses common words but rearranges the grammar in such a way that the wording matches the functioning of consciousness. Therefore the impact of the conversation with a CCI-CA trained coach is comparatively significantly higher.

Student Progress

Student progress is graded quantitatively and qualitatively on a scale of 1-100 with 100 being best. Examinations are administered for modules Master II and III. Students must achieve a minimum score of 75% correct in each module to pass. With the focus on student success, students will receive an extensive feedback of deficiencies, if and when deficiencies exist, for each examine attended. Students are entitled to repeat the examines for an additional administrative fee.

Prices and Payments

All mentioned prices are excluding VAT. CCI is VAT registered, so (at this time)14% VAT have to be charged additionally. - Payment is due within 7 days after registration, latest 30days before a course is starting. Without payment in time the student forfeits his right of a confirmed space. - For late payment CCI reserves its right to charge interest, based on prime + 5. - For any part payments CCI will charge R150 admin fee.

Reservations

A 20% deposit of the booked module(s) is required to hold a space in the programme.

Cancellations

Cancellations of the programs the student registered for are charged an administrative fee of 3% of the tuition. Cancellations are only accepted in written form. If the cancellation is received less then 4 weeks before the start of the programme CCI-CA has to charge 20% of the tuition, less than 7 days before the start of the programme 50% and less than 3 days before the start of the programme 100%, except the student provides someone else who is taking over the enrolment. Any materials received are to be returned at the student's expense. A full refund of all registration fees and tuition paid is granted if CCI-CA does not accept the student.

Facilitation Cancellation

CCI-CA reserves the right to cancel or postpone modules of the CCI - CA, although it will not be done without good reason. The student will be informed well in time and the registration will be transferred to the next available class.

Reviewing

The student is entitled to review any module he graduated from free of charge (only venue fees have to be paid by student to CCI) as many times he wishes to. This option is subject to availability of seats. Certain exercises may not be attended if the student participation number exceeds the maximum number assigned to the exercise. Assisting is another form of reviewing and available upon request. Please consult your local CCI CA area center.

Salvadorian Clause

In the case that one or more of these terms become disempowered, the other terms shall not be impacted by that. CCI-CA and the student shall agree upon a substitute term, which comes closest to the discontinued term.

Court of Jurisdiction

Cape Town. CCI subscribes to its holistic philosophy and tries to avoid any legal steps to carry out its rights.
